C'Seed
Outdoor TV Vertical 201
With the Vertical 201 TV, we worked with C’SEED to develop a groundbreaking concept for outdoor entertainment, whilst at the same time creating a new architectural typology: a television that remains invisibly concealed within the ground, preserving the purity of the landscape, and rising as a sculptural monolith only when required.
More than just a display, it is a transformative architectural gesture that allows for maximum creative freedom whilst opening up a new dimension to the cinematic experience in outdoor spaces.

With a screen diagonal of 5.11 metres and 780,000 LEDs, C’SEED is a true marvel. However, the clients’ requirements went even further: when not in use, the screen was to retract into a compact casing in the ground, protected from the elements.
To achieve this, C’SEED folds up like an accordion and, together with its base, forms a slender column that then sinks into the ground. The concept was devised for the outdoor facilities of exclusive resorts, as well as for private and public viewing areas.

Shortly after its launch, C’SEED received enquiries from the superyacht industry asking whether this groundbreaking concept could also be made available at sea. The limited space on board, as well as the specific technical requirements of maritime environments, necessitated a considerable amount of development and design work.
The result is the C’SEED Supermarine TV, which sets new standards for entertainment on superyachts.
