User Interface Design
The Panasonic Alpha Set was developed as a scalable system that unites washer and dryer into a coherent design and functional unit. A clear visual order improves orientation and makes the relationship between the devices immediately understandable. Emphasis is placed on the legibility of functions.

The design language is characterized by minimalism, precision, and a consistent approach to proportions. Clean lines and well-defined surfaces structure the individual modules and ensure a uniform appearance across different applications. Functional elements are not concealed but are deliberately integrated in a visible manner.

By combining design and technical functionality, a system is created that is consistent in both its use and its appearance. The Alpha Set thus not only supports efficient processes but also establishes a visual identity for complex energy solutions in industrial settings.

A key element is the consistent design language that extends across all components. Uniform proportions, recurring design elements, and a minimalist aesthetic create a cohesive overall look. At the same time, the system remains expandable and adaptable to different requirements without losing its design identity.

Special attention has been paid to the interface, which serves as the link between the user and the device and was developed in collaboration with Porsche’s subsidiary MHP – A Porsche Company.
The controls are clearly structured and logically arranged, allowing functions to be understood and operated intuitively. The design reduces complexity and supports efficient, safe operation in everyday use.
