The result is as simple as it is fascinating: two chrome-plated metal brackets join the U-shaped upholstered elements of the seat and backrest to form a clean, harmonious whole. At the bottom, the metal structures split to form the armchair’s four delicate legs.

This creates a light, almost floating appearance that combines stability and elegance in a unique way.

When developing the new lounge chair series for Kusch+Co, we sought a design approach that would feel fresh and interesting, whilst remaining familiar and inviting. The aim was to create a design language that would attract attention without unsettling the user.

After all, the focus is not on the design alone, but above all on the user experience – comfort, atmosphere and a pleasant sensation whilst seated.
