Sebamed Packaging
Family Look and Cost Reduction
In addition to a high-quality and contemporary design, the new Sebamed bottles were developed with three key objectives in mind: to visually unify the entire product range, to systematically phase out all non-brand-specific standard bottles, and to significantly reduce production and logistics costs.

The development of a unified design language has resulted in a consistent brand identity across all product categories. At the same time, the generic packaging solutions previously used have been replaced by distinctive, clearly identifiable Sebamed bottles, which has significantly enhanced the brand’s recognisability at the point of sale.

A key factor in reducing costs was the technical standardisation of components. In particular, the consistent use of identical fastening parts across different product lines enabled tooling, production and storage costs to be reduced on a sustainable basis.
The use of standardised parts also simplified procurement and assembly, whilst at the same time increasing efficiency throughout the entire packaging logistics process.

The range was subsequently expanded systematically and supplemented with additional pack sizes and new packaging variants. This allowed the design concept to be flexibly adapted to different product categories and areas of application without compromising the brand’s visual consistency.
Despite this expansion, the distinctive design language was retained, ensuring that all products can be clearly identified as part of the Sebamed brand universe.
